Spring Creek is a modern, single-level home in Park City, Utah, organized not as a single mass but as a series of spaces gathered around two outdoor courtyards. Rather than turn inward on itself, the home reaches into the landscape, using the courtyards to draw light, shelter, and privacy from the neighbors into the heart of the plan.
Connection is the underlying theme. Each room is conceived in relationship to the next, so the house reads as a web of linked spaces. Movement is deliberate: the entry separates the main house from the garage, so the home reveals itself as a sequence of measured arrival that eases the transition between indoors and out.
The mountain views are composed rather than simply captured, with openings along the main axis framing the best of the landscape. At the center, a pool and reflecting pond hold the courtyard together and cool the house with every breeze, while deep south-facing overhangs and planted courtyards keep it comfortable through the seasons, a home built around stillness and light.
