A short story of love in San Francisco;
Him : originally from the bay, searching for home.
Her : an intellectual and culinary baking skills.
Together, they fell in love, and sought a place to call their own. Landing in a prestigious high-rise overlooking the Bay Bridge, all was peachy until a construction boom - the once iconic view had been replaced by numerous vertical feats of engineering.
Disheartened the couple began searching for alternative vistas, eventually finding a space in the vibrant Nob Hill neighborhood of charming architecture, great food, outstanding views, and, most importantly, strict zoning ordinances - no new high rises shall be interfering with a vantage point of the Golden Gate Bridge.
This is the impetus of the design - provide unlimited views from all spaces. Blessed as a topographic high chair, Nob Hill has classic San Francisco views in every direction. A simple yet effective design opened the entire unit to beyond, pulling every wall away from the exterior, flooding the space with light and views.
